Petras Giannis

Giannis Petras is an attorney specializing in international corporate and maritime law, with professional presence in the United Arab Emirates. He graduated with honors from the Faculty of Law of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and holds two LL.M. degrees with distinction from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and the University of Cambridge. He was also awarded a scholarship by the Union of Greek Shipowners.
He was the first Greek lawyer selected for the highly competitive “Dubai Business Associates” program under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, with an acceptance rate of 0.5%, where he received the “Outstanding Project Award.” He currently serves as the elected Secretary General of the Hellenic Business Council in Dubai, actively contributing to the strengthening of business and institutional ties between Greece and the UAE. He is also the founder of the National Moot Court Competition of Greece, the country’s largest student legal education institution.

He is a graduate of the Law School of the Democritus University of Thrace, with a strong academic interest in Civil and Commercial Law. During his undergraduate studies, he participated in academic and diplomatic initiatives, including the THRACINGonMIC conference, where he gained practical insight into the functioning of international organizations and crisis management mechanisms. He also took part in ERASMUS+ programs in Italy, Cyprus, and Turkey, broadening his academic and intercultural perspective.
He is currently completing his legal traineeship at the “Apostolidis A. Vasileios & Associates” Law Office, actively engaging in legal research and case preparation across various fields of law, with particular emphasis on Civil and Commercial matters. At the same time, he is pursuing postgraduate studies in the inter-institutional Master’s program “Law and Informatics (MSc Law & Informatics),” jointly offered by the University of Macedonia and the Democritus University of Thrace, strengthening his expertise at the intersection of law and technology.

She was born in Thessaloniki. After graduating from high school, she was admitted in 2019 to the Law School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, from which she graduated in 2023. During her undergraduate studies, she attended numerous legal seminars, including European Law, Commercial Law, Law & Technology, Medical Law & Bioethics. Her involvement with the art of rhetoric and participation in United Nations simulations, where she was distinguished, further enhanced her communication skills and her understanding of both domestic and international law.
She is currently completing her legal traineeship at the “Apostolidis A. Vasileios” law office while simultaneously pursuing postgraduate studies in the inter-institutional program “Pharmaceutical Law: Legislation & Practice,” which provides specialized knowledge in the complex field of pharmaceutical law and regulation, essential for effective advisory work on pharmaceutical policy, ethics, and regulatory compliance.

Marianna Brousti is a Marketing & Communications professional with over six years of experience in the strategic development and management of brands across the entertainment and cultural goods sectors, telecommunications, and retail. She holds an International MBA from the Athens University of Economics and Business and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Media & Culture with a specialization in Marketing & Advertising from Panteion University.
